Responsibilities Ensure product quality standards are met; document products that do not meet standards.
Report rejected material from suppliers and up-stream processes.
Stop production when non-conforming material is identified; alert appropriate staff to fix problem immediately.
Develop expert knowledge on quality requirements to assist with SOPs and Quality Alert Sheets.
Audit production processes.
Maintain quality charts and communicate internal/external customer issues to team.
Utilize basic Lean tools:
charts, 5-whys, fish-bone diagram, flow charts.
Communicate with all shifts on identified issues and related corrective actions.
All other duties and projects as assigned.
QualificationsProficient computer skills; intermediate knowledge of ExcelPrior Quality Tech experience requiredAble to communicate effectively with all levelsProven ability to identify, analyze and solve problems (often independently)Stable work history, good attendance record, reliable transportationHigh school diploma requiredSubmit resume or complete an onsite application in our self-service lobby at 105 N.
