Responsibilities Ensure product quality standards are met; document products that do not meet standards.
Report rejected material from suppliers and up-stream processes.
Stop production when non-conforming material is identified; alert appropriate staff to fix problem immediately.
Develop expert knowledge on quality requirements to assist with SOPs and Quality Alert Sheets.
Audit production processes.
Maintain quality charts and communicate internal/external customer issues to team.
Utilize basic Lean tools:
charts, 5-whys, fish-bone diagram, flow charts.
Communicate with all shifts on identified issues and related corrective actions.
All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications Proficient computer skills; intermediate knowledge of Excel Prior Quality Tech experience required Able to communicate effectively with all levels Proven ability to identify, analyze and solve problems (often independently) Stable work history, good attendance record, reliable transportation High school diploma required Submit resume or complete an onsite application in our self-service lobby at 105 N.
