Walkerton, IN Walkerton, IN Full-time Full-time $120,000 a year $120,000 a year 23 hours ago 23 hours ago 23 hours ago SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt employees; coordinating with hiring managers on position requirements; recruitment strategies and search timelines.
Coordinate temporary staffing needs for divisions by contacting and working with the temporary staffing agency.
Conduct new hire orientation and process On-Boarding for new hires.
Assist in the developing of policies and procedures, including preparation of written documents; implementation of employee handbook and development of communication plans to employees.
Assist in maintaining attendance policy and disciplinary actions with Operations Team.
Coordinate with management on the implementation of company programs and practices to maintain a positive work environment and support Company Cultural (EPIC 2) programs.
Assists in facilitating the implementation of Human Resources Information Systems, programs, tools and processes designed to improve management and employee performance, productivity, engagement and business results.
Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Assist employees with labor relations issues and/or concerns.
Act as back-up to the Payroll processing.
Act as a back-up to Receptionist as needed.
Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, the individuals must be qualified of with the knowledge, skill and ability listed below:
Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience; additional related training preferred.
Relevant years of experience in a Human Resources Assistant or Generalist role.
Basic understanding of Human Resources functions.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Demonstrate strong computer skills using Outlook, Excel and Word.
Knowledge in HRIS database and payroll systems.
Knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
Experience in administration of benefits and other Human Resources programs.
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
Skill in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Desire to grow professionally and assume more responsibility.
Strategic and critical thinking.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, climb, walk, use hands, and talk and hear for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.

Salary and Short-Term Incentive Your compensation for this position will include an initial annual base salary of $120,000 (Salary).
The Salary will be payable on Company's customary payroll practices.
It will be in effect until your first annual evaluation, which will be reviewed the last quarter of the calendar year and annual evaluations thereafter.
You will also be eligible for a shortterm incentive plan at 20%.
To be eligible for the incentive, you must be employed by the Company through the date of payment All Salary and Incentive payments are subject to normal withholdings and payroll taxes.
The Company retains sole discretion to adjust your Salary and Incentive based on your performance, the Company's performance, or other criteria.
Since you are starting midyear, you will not be eligible for the payout of this incentive until April 2024.
